Commissioned a custom walnut board, 18 inches, hand-engraved "The Iyers" centered on the long edge. Mara was clear about pricing and timeline up front, started the same week, and the finished board is genuinely gorgeous — the grain and the engraving are beautiful. Pickup in Willow Glen was easy. Mara made me a maple cutting board, fast turnaround and exactly the size I needed — about 12 inches, just right for my daughter's gift. Plain and well finished. Knocked off one star only because I had to ask twice about timing, but she came through. Good honest work.
